Pathshala, the complete school of photography in Bangladesh is inviting applications ONLY from the female students for ‘One Year Programme in Photography’ starting from
February 20, 2010.
Deadline for submission of applications: February 17, 2010
Requirements:
HSC or A level with GPA: 2.5 or 2nd Division.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Must have completed basic photography course.
Interested deserving female students are requested to send their CV, copies of academic certificates, two passport size photographs, a portfolio (with minimum 10 images,
size: 8” x 10”), publication, if any to:

Subject: The final presentation by OUC, Nepal, Chittagong and Pathshala Students.
Dear All,
We are pleased to inform you that the collaborative programme between Oslo University College (OUC), Norway, Photo.Circle, Nepal, Photo Bank, Chittagong and Pathshala-South Asian Institute of Photography, Dhaka has started from January 11, 2010. Under this programme, a group of students from OUC is collaborating with the fellow students from Photo.Circle, Nepal, Photo Bank, Chittagong and Pathshala, Dhaka for the first time. Students work on their personal projects as part of their curriculum and produce comprehensive photo-stories at the end. This programme is being sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Norway.
Under this programme, a group of twelve students from OUC, seventeen students from Pathshala, eight from Nepal and eight from Chittagong through Photo Bank in Chittagong are collaborating in this year. Students worked in two groups in two different venues-one in Nepal and the other one in Chittagong. Both the groups had workshops in Nepal and Chittagong from January 11-15, 2010 separately. The workshop in Nepal was conducted by Philip Blenkinsop and in Chittagong by Stuart Freedman. Students then worked on their personal projects from January 16 to February 5, 2010. The group in Nepal had a local presentation in Nepal on the 6th February and the Chittagong group on the 7th February. All participating students will come to Dhaka for their final presentation. The presentation schedule is given below:
